Loess Hills Bur Oak Sapling Sale and Tree Planting Coaching Session with Jack Phillips. April, 12, 9am – noon. Hitchcock Nature Center (Barn), Honey Creek, Iowa. Saplings are 10 – 20″ tall and were grown in a root-production system from acorns collected at Hitchcock, $20 each. We also have red, chinkapin, and black oaks from surrounding counties for sale. Call Jack (402.571.7460) to order.Trees will be available for pick up on April 12. A limited number of trees will be on hand for cash and carry. All proceeds support restoration work at HNC.
