This workshop is designed for community leaders and native tree advocates involved in local tree advocacy, activism, and neighborhood native tree-planting projects. Topics will include:
Benefits of native, local trees
Species selection
Sustainable design and planting methods
Early care and site management
Prospect Hill Cemetery Arboretum (3202 Parker Street,Omaha) will be our host. Saturday, April 13, 8:30am – 12:30pm. Tuition is $35.00. Participants should prepare for vigorous outdoor activity.
